Trolls Band Together

I had a lot of fun working on Trolls Band Together, which at the time was temporarily called Trolls 3. I had the ability to exercise a lot of creative freedom in the beginning due to the movie not being announced yet. I managed constant changes in creative direction and quick turnaround times to develop unique toys for children, from product development to packaging design, to labels, to manufacturing factors like warning labels, age limits, and barcodes. The style guide was constantly being altered, so most of the mockup revisions pertained to translating those guidelines onto the design which sometimes led to shifting the product as a whole.

I was able to utilize my knowledge in print and leverage my expertise when it came to using dielines, Pantone spot colors, and bleed. The toys I designed were not very conventional, so I was responsible for communicating the functionality of my designs through my visuals, allowing higher ups to understand what the product does.
