ICE! Gaylord Hotels: Collector’s Items

ICE! at Gaylord Hotels, a holiday attraction renowned for its breathtaking ice sculptures, expressed the need for promotional products that would resonate with their guests and leave a lasting impression. Our team ideated collectible ornaments and a festive mug. The ornaments presented a real challenge as they went through countless revisions. They were being completely built from scratch, involving the need of custom molds for production.

Through my digital mockups, I was tasked with visually communicating each design specification for the ornaments to the manufacturer, bridging the gap between concept and production. This process deepened my understanding of production elements related to embossing/debossing, materials, and laser engraving. Additionally, I introduced myself to the 3D features of Adobe Photoshop, further expanding my proficiency in the software.
